I have very sweet eyes and I get along well with just about everyone (with proper introductions of course) though I would do best in a home without young children, as I am very nervous around loud or chaotic situations. I would rather not be in large crowds or with lots of other dogs. My foster mom took me to a fair and I was scared of all the men in goofy hats and lots of dogs and people everywhere. I do great at the dog park though! I need a home who will love me forever, just as I will love them forever! From the foster family: Nala is a sweet sweet dog who just wants her belly rubbed all the time! She is well behaved, however will bark when people come to the door. She gets really excited around new people and just wants to greet them with a jump on their belly. She is doing a great job of learning this is not okay and her paws belong on the floor when meeting a new person. She loves to play keep away with her rope and thinks she is a lap dog :P She clearly knows sit, down, shake and she knows no means no very well. She does know roll-over and stay, however has not by any means mastered those commands. Especially around new people or anything exciting. She really is a sweet and goofy dog. We took her to a fair and she clearly did not feel comfortable with the men in big hats or anyone dressed up in mask's or anything out of the ordinary. She does great at the dog park! She definitely does best with proper introductions to other dogs one on one. She LOVES LOVES LOVES car rides! She gets so excited and just wants the wind in her ears! She will be a great running partner once she learns how to run next to a human on a leash. She doesn't care for lakes or pools. She doesn't mind her kennel and goes in without a fuss. She doesn't whine at all through the night if you were to keep her in the kennel, however we have not had one problem with leaving her out. She will mess up the pillows and blankets a bit on the couch, however has been accident and trouble free! We just can't say enough about her!!! From Nala: Hi!!! My name is Nala and I LOVE LOVE LOVE to play! I love to run! I love car rides! But most of all, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE MY BELLY RUBBED!!! It's almost as good as peanut butter!!!! Mhmm... Peanut butter... I live with this cat in my foster home, he doesn't like me but I don't mind him at all. He looks at me like I am something scary and hisses at me, and I don't do anything back. I just look at him like he is crazy and I just walk away. I love to cuddle with my foster mom on the couch when she is not taking me for a run or playing outside with me. I really love car rides! Especially when we go to Dairy Queen and I get a puppy-cup! I do my best not to get into any trouble because I just want to be loved and please my humans! I do get allergies in the summer so I get this little pill in the morning. As long as my foster mom puts a little peanut butter on it I don't mind at all, especially since it makes me not sneeze and have pink itchy eyes all day! I LOVE to meet new people! I know I am not supposed to jump on them when I go to say hi... but I am just so excited!!! I am doing a great job learning though! I will get it down soon as long as my humans stay consistent with my training. I love to learn new things and just love to make my humans happy! Don't you want to come meet me???
